Chico, Ca – Northern California National Bank (OTCBB: NCNB.OB), reported a profitable 2nd quarter by earning $165,000 for the three months ending June 30, 2010. This is a 133% increase in the 2nd quarter income from the $71,000 net income the Bank earned in the 2nd quarter of 2009.

The 2010 net income for the 6 months ended June 30, 2010 was $328,000. This is a 106% increase from the 6 months net income of $159,000 that the Bank earned in 2009 during the same time period.

The Bank’s total assets were $97.2 million at June 30, 2010, a 16.4% increase from the June 30, 2009 balance of $83.5 million. Loans totaled $31.1 million, up 6.9% from a year ago and deposits increased 19.7% and ended the period at a balance of $79.0 million. The Bank continues to have excellent asset quality with no 90 days or more past due or non-accrual loans or other assets as of June 30, 2010. Northern California National Bank is also considered to be well capitalized and far exceeds the minimum regulatory requirements.
